Monticello and Pea Ridge squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Monticello had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Blackhawks by a score of 1-0. The Billies' loss signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.

Monticello's defeat dropped their record down to 19-9. As for Pea Ridge, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

Monticello does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pea Ridge, they will square off against Bauxite at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. The Miners will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Blackhawks surely won't give up without a fight.
