Football Game Preview: Windsor Central Black Knights vs. Susquehanna Valley Sabers

The Windsor Central Black Knights will take on the Susquehanna Valley Sabers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Windsor Central and Owego Free Academy have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Black Knights fell just short of the River Hawks by a score of 10-7. Having soared to a lofty 34 points in the game before, the Black Knights couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, the third road contest was the charm for Susquehanna Valley, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They walked away with a 28-18 win over Ithaca on Friday.

Susquehanna Valley now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Windsor Central, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Everything came up roses for Windsor Central against Susquehanna Valley in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 47-14 victory. Do the Black Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Sabers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
