Softball Recap: Bourbon County Comes Up Short

Bourbon County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 8-1 to the Montgomery County Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 last Wednesday.

Bourbon County's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Montgomery County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Coming up, Bourbon County will be playing in front of their home fans against Paul Laurence Dunbar at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Montgomery County, they will square off against Lafayette at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Generals will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight.
