Basketball Recap: Kaycee Takes a Loss

Kaycee lost against Wright back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Kaycee Buckaroos were outmatched by the Wright Panthers and fell 70-23. While losing is never fun, the Buckaroos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wyoming basketball rankings (they are ranked 60th, while the Panthers are ranked ninth).

Kaycee dropped their record down to 2-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Wright, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

While Kaycee had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
