Buchanan entered their tilt with Somerset Sky Pointe on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0.

Buchanan found their leader in sophomore Isabella Gornick, who had ten digs and one assist.

Buchanan was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in four consecutive games.

Buchanan's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Somerset Sky Pointe, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Buchanan and Somerset Sky Pointe will both be playing Boulder City the next time they take the court. The Bears will head out to face the Eagles at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
