Basketball Game Preview: Green Hope Falcons vs. Apex Cougars

Green Hope is on a three-game streak of home losses, Apex a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Green Hope Falcons will welcome the Apex Cougars at 8:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Green Hope had to suffer through a 82-49 loss at the hands of Green Level. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 236th, while the Gators are ranked 23rd).

Meanwhile, Apex ended up a good deal behind Middle Creek on Friday and lost 66-48. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by exactly 18 points.

Apex's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Green Hope, their loss dropped their record down to 9-13.

Green Hope was able to grind out a solid win over Apex in their previous matchup back in January, winning 53-44. Will Green Hope repeat their success, or does Apex have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
