Basketball Recap: Eden Skates Past Tapestry with Ease

Eden had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They blew past the Tapestry Thunderhawks 82-44. With the Raiders ahead 43-14 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Eden got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kobe Genco out in front who made all 6 shots he took from beyond the arc racking up 25 points along with five assists and five boards. Thanks to that strong game, Genco now owns an excellent 41.5% three-point shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Krencik, who went 9-for-14 to rack up 24 points and seven rebounds.

Eden's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.3 points over those games. As for Tapestry, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Eden will square off against Silver Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eden is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 68.4 points per game this season. Tapestry does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
