Basketball Recap: Flint Academy Falcons vs. St. Paul's Prep Lions

Flint Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the St. Paul's Prep Lions 66-10. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-2.

St. Paul's Prep got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Wyatt Tate out in front who went 6 for 8 en route to 14 points plus four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Wood, who went 6 for 8 en route to 13 points plus seven rebounds and two steals.

Flint Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for St. Paul's Prep, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Flint Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Clariden at 6:30 p.m. on December 9th. As for St. Paul's Prep, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Mercy Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
