McComb is a perfect 4-0 against Cory-Rawson since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Panthers will host the Fighting Hornets at 5:30 p.m. McComb will be strutting in after a win while Cory-Rawson will be coming in after a defeat.

On Wednesday, McComb got the win against Arlington by a conclusive 12-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Cory-Rawson came up short against Ridgemont on Tuesday, falling 20-5. The loss continues a trend for the Fighting Hornets in their meetings with the Golden Gophers: they've now lost three in a row.

Mason Hall made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Cory-Rawson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for McComb, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9-1.
