Soccer Recap: Bridgeport Comes Up Short

Bridgeport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 7-2 to the Decatur Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Bulls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 552nd, while the Eagles are ranked 224th).

Bridgeport's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Decatur, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Bridgeport will venture away from home to challenge Burkburnett at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Decatur, they will welcome Graham at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
