Softball Recap: Lake Buena Vista Comes Up Short

Lake Buena Vista lost against Windermere back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Lake Buena Vista lost 19-2 to Windermere. The Vipers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Lake Buena Vista saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Allison Curtis, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. Those two hits gave Curtis a new career-high.

Lake Buena Vista now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Windermere, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Buena Vista will host Edgewater at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Buena Vista is facing Edgewater at the right time seeing as Edgewater is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Windermere, they will take on West Orange in a tournament on Wednesday. Considering Windermere has lost three straight at home and West Orange four straight on the road, this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum.
