Basketball Game Preview: Addison Panthers vs. Hudson Tigers

A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers take on the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Addison saw some tournament action on Monday. They escaped with a win against Sand Creek by the margin of a single free throw, 64-63. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Aggies: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Hudson waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 50-46 W against the Aggies.

Hudson's win came from a few key players Addison will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Qwaden Wallace, who posted nine points along with seven assists and four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last eight games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Jones, who earned 16 points.

Addison's record is now 6-16. As for Hudson, their record is now 12-9.

Addison was taken down by Hudson 76-47 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Wallace, who had 21 points and seven assists. Now that Addison knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
