Softball Recap: Valley View Comes Up Short

Valley View's last matchup with Waynesville could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Friday. Valley View lost 11-1 to Waynesville. Valley View has struggled against Waynesville recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Valley View saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Bell, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one RBI.

Valley View's loss dropped their record down to 4-12-1. As for Waynesville, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley View will take on Eaton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Waynesville, they will face off against Northeastern at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
