Wake Christian Academy entered their tilt with Harrells Christian Academy on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Crusaders with a sharp 8-2 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Brody Morris made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2024.

In other batting news, Grayson Durrant was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Carter Collins, who scored a run while going 3-for-5.

Wake Christian Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Harrells Christian Academy only posted a batting average of .190.

Wake Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Harrells Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wake Christian Academy will host Franklin Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harrells Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Kerr-Vance Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
