Baseball Recap: Campbell Has No Trouble Against Conant

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Campbell and Conant had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. Campbell came out on top against Conant by a score of 7-2 on Friday. That five run margin sets a new team best for Campbell this season.

Luke Delia was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. Delia was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Jack Curtis was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double. Another player making a difference was Brady Marcotte, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Campbell's record now sits at 3-1. As for Conant, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 3-1.
