Softball Recap: White River Valley Comes Up Short

White River Valley lost against West Rutland back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats came up short against the Golden Horde, falling 21-3.

White River Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for West Rutland, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, White River Valley will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Proctor at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for West Rutland, they will head out on the road to challenge Poultney at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
