You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Lockport on Monday. They took down the Joliet Central Steelmen 63-47. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Porters.

When it comes to explaining why Joliet Central lost, don't look at Erick Contreras. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc on his way to 28 points and five boards. The dominant performance gave Contreras a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Vonte Mccann, who posted five points in addition to seven assists and seven rebounds.
