Baseball Recap: Northwest Comes Up Short

Northwest blew Ankeny out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Ankeny got their revenge. The Wolves fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 5-3. That makes it the first time this season the Wolves have let down their home crowd.

Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Ankeny, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-19.

Northwest has already played their next matchup (against Johnston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Ankeny, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-5 win against Dallas Center-Grimes on the 3rd.
