Basketball Game Preview: King's Christian Knights vs. Calvary Baptist

The King's Christian Knights are taking a road trip to square off against Calvary Baptist at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. King's Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.1 points per game this season.

King's Christian is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Atlantic Christian just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 42-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars.

Despite the loss, King's Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Cam Homer posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Matt Johnson, who earned seven points.

Meanwhile, Calvary Baptist lost to Valley Forge Baptist Academy at home by a 48-34 margin two weeks ago. Calvary Baptist has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

King's Christian's defeat ended a 14-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-8. As for Calvary Baptist, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
