Bayfield had won seven straight games and Quintin Bresette did his part to make it eight on Thursday. The Bayfield Trollers took their contest with ease, bagging a 130-35 victory over the Mercer Tigers which was due in part to Bresette, who dropped a triple-double with 67 points, 13 boards, and 14 assists. The matchup was his 13th in a row with at least 18 points.

Maxwell Gordon was another key player, dropping a double-double with 29 points and 16 rebounds. Those 29 points gave him a new career-high.

Bayfield's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 94.3 points over those games. As for Mercer, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.

Looking ahead, Bayfield will be playing in front of their home fans against Cornell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mercer does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
