Softball Recap: Loretto Takes a Loss

Loretto fell victim to Summertown and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-0. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Loretto's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Summertown, the win was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-3-1.

Looking ahead, Loretto will square off against Columbia Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Summertown, they will take on Eagleville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
