Football Recap: Davison Starts Season with Win Against Roseville

Davison had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They took down the Roseville Panthers 38-21 on Thursday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Cardinals' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Panthers are ranked 41st).

Jaxson Dosh had a dynamite game, rushing for 67 yards and four TDs, while also throwing for 147 yards and one touchdown. Those four rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Jacob Garris helped out on the ground, rushing for 111 yards.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Davison will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on De La Salle Collegiate at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th. As for Roseville, they will host Anchor Bay at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th.
