There's no place like home for Brandon, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the King Lions 37-0 at home. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their seven-point performance the game before.

Brandon found their leader in underclassman Jamare Eugene, who rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. Eugene's longest rush was for an impressive 53 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Brandon wouldn't let King keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. Brandon can thank Tellyn Clark and Bryce Bell for forcing all of them. Clark also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing two fumbles, making five total tackles (3.0 for loss), and defending two passes.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Brandon was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 273 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as King only rushed for -5.

Brandon's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for King, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Brandon will head out to challenge Strawberry Crest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for King, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Freedom at 7:30 p.m.
