Wharton had to settle for second on Friday, but Ja'Keon Jackson sure wasn't going down easily. Jackson was excellent, rushing for 172 yards and one score on only 11 carries. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (100.2).

Jackson and Wharton will head out on the road to square off against La Marque at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jackson will face off against Deuce Walker, the Cougars' star QB.
