There's no place like home for Clear Lake, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against the Deer Park Deer by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Clear Lake had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 26-28, 25-17, 25-23, 25-23.

Their offense was headlined by Renae Slyter and Landry Youngdahl, who picked up 11 kills apiece. They got some help from Peyton Aldridge and her 38 assists. Alicia Farinacci controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Clear Lake's record is now 21-11. As for Deer Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-15.

Clear Lake didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Clear Creek on the 26th. As for Deer Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Brazoswood on the 26th.
