Oviedo and Seminole are an even 4-4 against one another since April of 2021, but not for long. The Lions will face off against the Seminoles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Oviedo is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to Lyman.

Oviedo was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Seminole came up short against Apopka on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Seminole was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Apopka's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19, 28-26.

Oviedo's defeat dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Seminole, they dropped their record down to 10-14 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Everything went Oviedo's way against Seminole in their previous matchup back in March, as Oviedo made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Seminoles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
