Basketball Recap: Trigg County Comes Up Short

Trigg County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Livingston Central Cardinals and fell 65-31. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cardinals earlier this season, when they won 47-36.

Trigg County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Livingston Central, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 8-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trigg County will face off against Christian Fellowship at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Livingston Central, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Carlisle County at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
