Softball Recap: Ardrey Kell Knights vs. Mallard Creek Mavericks
Ardrey Kell barely beat Mallard Creek the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Ardrey Kell Knights never let the Mallard Creek Mavericks get on the board and left with a 17-0 win on Friday. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mavericks, too.
Carlin Scholz made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Scholz was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
In other pitching news, Amelia Hartley looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
