Volleyball Recap: Braddock Takes a Loss

Braddock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Miami Stingarees, falling 3-0. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Stingarees when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Braddock was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Miami work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-17, 25-20.

Gabriel Perez-Malo paced Braddock's offense, picking up 22 kills. Perez-Malo got some help from Adrian Martin and his 33 assists.

Braddock's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Miami, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.

Looking ahead, Braddock will head out to square off against Ransom Everglades at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Miami, they will challenge Bishop Moore at 3:30 p.m. on the 11th.
