Football Recap: Fort Meade Beats Moore Haven for Their Third Straight Victory

After losing to Moore Haven the last time they met, Fort Meade decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Miners strolled past the Terriers with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 23-6. The Miners pushed the score to 20-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Terriers cut but never quite recovered from.

The victory was the third in a row for Fort Meade, bringing their record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.3 points on average over those games. As for Moore Haven, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
