Norwood has gone a perfect 10-0 against Ashland recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Mustangs will look to defend their home field against the Clockers at 4:30 p.m. Norwood is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

If Norwood beats Ashland with nine runs on Wednesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Mustangs came out on top against Medfield by a score of 9-5 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Ashland lost 12-2 to Hopkinton on Monday. The Clockers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ashland saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Neko Ustaris, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Adeline Khazadian also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Norwood's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Ashland, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.

Everything went Norwood's way against Ashland in their previous meeting back in April, as Norwood made off with an 18-3 victory. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Clockers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
