Volleyball Recap: Fairview Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fairview can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Arab Knights on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Knights this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss back in September.

Leading Arab to victory were Lela Hipp and Kayden Gronczniak. Hipp had 17 assists and seven digs, while Gronczniak had five assists and three digs. That's the most assists Hipp has posted over her last seven matchups.

Fairview's loss dropped their record down to 15-15. As for Arab, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 29-24.

Fairview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Arab, they have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Guntersville on the 14th.
