Baseball Recap: North Olmsted Comes Up Short

North Olmsted was the 11-7 winner over Holy Name when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles came up short against the Green Wave on Saturday, falling 15-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Olmsted saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luca Larue, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. That stolen base was Larue's first of the season.

North Olmsted's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Holy Name, their record now sits at 7-11.

Coming up, North Olmsted will challenge Lakewood at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rangers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Holy Name, they will square off against Normandy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Green Wave will need to watch out since the Invaders have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
