Baseball Recap: St. Dominic's Loss Ends Nine-Game Winning Streak at Home

St. Dominic was the 14-1 winner over North Point when they last played one another back in April of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. St. Dominic fell just short of North Point by a score of 7-6 on Tuesday.

Henry Molitor was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits.

On the hitting side, Nate Milam was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-5. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024.

St. Dominic's defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2. As for North Point, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, St. Dominic will venture away from home to face off against Marquette at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Marquette will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something St. Dominic surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Point, they will take on Jefferson at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
