Volleyball Game Preview: Thousand Oaks Lancers vs. Newbury Park Panthers

The Thousand Oaks Lancers will square off against the Newbury Park Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, it was close, but Thousand Oaks sidestepped Agoura for a 3-2 victory.

Thousand Oaks had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 22-25, 25-23, 25-22, 15-9.

Meanwhile, Newbury Park waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 3-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
