Volleyball Recap: North Crowley's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

North Crowley had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Socorro Bulldogs.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21.

Socorro's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alyssa Almanza, who had 28 digs. Another player making a difference was Dulce Cardona, who had 17 digs.

North Crowley's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Socorro, they dropped their record down to 4-3 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, North Crowley will welcome Kennedale at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Socorro, they will head out to square off against Canutillo at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
