Castle View had won four straight games and Vivian Yore did her part to make it five on Wednesday. The Sabercats had just enough and edged out the Vista Ridge Wolves 41-38 with plenty of help from Yore, who posted eight points in addition to 14 rebounds and three steals. She has become a key player for Castle View: the team is 6-1 when she posts at least three steals, but 2-3 otherwise.

The team also got some help courtesy of Sophi Pinello, who earned nine points. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.

Vista Ridge lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Sole' Alexander, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 12 boards. Arayah Johnson was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Castle View's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Vista Ridge, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Coming up, Castle View will venture away from home to square off against Highlands Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Sabercats will need to watch out since the Falcons have now posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. As for Vista Ridge, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 42-23 win against Rampart on the 15th.
