There's no place like home for Big Rapids, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Montague Wildcats on Thursday. The Cardinals were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Wildcats, so the Cardinals were just returning the favor.

Big Rapids easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-13.

Big Rapids' victory bumped their record up to 10-23-1. As for Montague, they dropped their record down to 13-28-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Big Rapids has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Lake City on the 30th. As for Montague, they will face off against Oakridge at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
