Basketball Game Preview: Bacon County Raiders vs. Telfair County Trojans

The Bacon County Raiders will challenge the Telfair County Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bacon County has given up an average of 61.8 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Bacon County is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with a 66-59 victory over West Laurens on Monday.

Meanwhile, Telfair County had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 67-66 to Appling County. The Trojans have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Bacon County's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Telfair County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Everything came up roses for Bacon County against Telfair County in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 76-46 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
