Basketball Recap: Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They secured a 59-55 W over the Palm Bay Pirates on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 70-57 back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Palm Bay lost, don't look at Kamari Nesmith. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 10 on his way to 15 points and six steals. The dominant performance gave Nesmith a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Ryann Brown, who went 5 of 9 en route to 11 points.

The win got Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy back to even at 12-12. As for Palm Bay, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-12 record.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 58-48 loss against Rockledge on the 31st. Palm Bay has also already played their next match, a 65-54 defeat against Hagerty on the 30th.
