Football Recap: Jonesville Has No Trouble Against Manchester

Jonesville never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Manchester Flying Dutchmen 22-0. The result was nothing new for the Comets, who have now won three games by 20 points or more so far this season.

Carson Young threw for 68 yards and one touchdown. BRYCE Henry was his top target, picking up 43 receiving yards and a pair of scores. On the ground, JOHN MILKS rushed for 147 yards and one TD.

The victory made it two in a row for Jonesville and bumps their season record up to 6-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 points in those games. As for Manchester, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-4.

Coming up, Jonesville will head out to square off against Bronson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings' defense has only allowed 12 points per game this season, so the Comets' offense will have their work cut out for them. Manchester does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
