After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Butler, AGWSR was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Lake Mills Bulldogs by a score of 20-12. The Cougars' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

AGWSR's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Lake Mills, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. AGWSR will welcome BCLUW at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will be up against the Comets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 40.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Lake Mills, they will square off against Newman Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
