If Grace Christian wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Homer, they should've done a better job of containing Piper Fuchs. The Mariners put the hurt on the Grizzlies with a sharp 3-0 victory on Friday for which the team can thank Fuchs, who had 14 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

Homer has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 29-16-3 record this season. As for Grace Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-25-2 record this season.

Homer has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Seward on the 7th. Grace Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
