Football Recap: Andress Eagles vs. Chapin Huskies        
        
		
             After flying high against Jefferson  last Friday, Andress came back down to earth. The Andress Eagles were  outmatched by the Chapin Huskies on the road  and fell  54-8. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  31-0.
  Mikeil Taylor and  Jamari Milton certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss.  Taylor picked up 114 receiving yards and a touchdown, while  Milton threw for 242 yards and a touchdown. A healthy portion of that aerial production (101 yards to be exact) also went to  Avant Clayton.
 Chapin's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Daveon Singleton, who rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also picked up 40 receiving yards. Singleton's longest rush was for an impressive 60 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.  Evan Rivera was another key player, throwing for 278 yards and two touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes.
 Andress dropped their record down to 1-3 with the  defeat, which was their fourth straight  on the road dating back to last season. As for Chapin,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 2-2.
 Andress will square off against Hanks at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Hanks knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Andress likes a good challenge. As for Chapin, they will face off against Burges at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in Chapin's favor is that they have posted at least 31  points  in their last three matchups.
