Softball Recap: Clay County Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Clay County challenged North Laurel on Tuesday. The Tigers came up short against the Jaguars, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-2 loss back in April.

Clay County has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-16 record this season. As for North Laurel, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 28-6.

As of now, neither Clay County nor the Jaguars have any future games scheduled.
