Softball Recap: St. Georges Tech Comes Up Short

St. Georges Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Woodbridge Raiders, falling 11-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hawks of the 5-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

St. Georges Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Woodbridge, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Georges Tech will head out to square off against Brandywine at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodbridge, they will venture away from home to take on ASPIRA Charter at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
