LaVille won the last time they faced New Prairie, and Brooke Edison did her part to make sure it happened again. The LaVille Lancers strolled past the New Prairie Cougars with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 40-23 thanks in part to Edison, who almost dropped a triple-double on 25 points, 13 boards, and nine steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 40 times she's played.

LaVille has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for New Prairie, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-18 record this season.

LaVille won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bremen at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bremen will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something LaVille surely won't give up without a fight.
