The Eastside Ghosts will take on the Randallstown Rams at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
While Eastside's win against Kennedy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Ghosts narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Knights 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Ghosts have posted against the Knights since May 3, 2017.
Johan Tejada tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over 6.1 innings pitched.

At the plate, Kairo Reyes was excellent, scoring a run and stealing four bases while going 2-for-2. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Angel Liranzo was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Randallstown made easy work of Lansdowne on Thursday and carried off a 12-2 victory. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by ten runs or more this season.
Terrence Venable made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Venable was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He has become a key player for Randallstown: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-3-1 otherwise.
In other batting news, Randallstown got a massive performance out of Chris Mcleod, who scored four runs and stole six bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The Rams are 3-1 when Mcleod posts two or more runs, but 2-3-1 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Lee, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3.
Randallstown always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .656. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lansdowne only posted an OBP of .381.
Randallstown is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-4-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Eastside, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.
