Soccer Recap: Borger Extends Winning Streak to Three

Borger proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Perryton Rangers, sneaking past 1-0. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Bulldogs' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 503rd, while the Rangers are ranked 228th).

Borger's one-goal win came courtesy of Noah Dimmitt, who's now up to nine this season.

The win (which was Borger's third in a row) raised their record to 11-10-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three games. As for Perryton, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 13-7-1 record.

As of now, neither Borger nor Perryton have any future games scheduled.
