Mount Tahoma has gone 6-1 against Capital recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Mount Tahoma T-Birds will head out to challenge the Capital Cougars at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Mount Tahoma's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups.

Last Wednesday, Mount Tahoma came up short against Timberline and fell 71-63. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (61), the T-Birds still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Capital was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 62-39 to Silas. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 274th, while the Rams are ranked 85th).

Capital's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Mount Tahoma, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Mount Tahoma beat Capital 60-53 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mount Tahoma since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
